Cave in Poças do Gomes
This cool tunnel at the end of the Lido promenade, right by a bunch of hotels and restaurants, is kinda low-key. I was legit surprised not more folks were vibing in there, soaking up the cave scene. Usually, you gotta hop on a tiny boat to catch sea caves, right? Well, not here. There's this tunnel that hooks up the promenade to Praia Formosa, and smack in the middle, there are 3 windows giving you a sweet view of the sea cave action! South Coast, west of Funchal. Parking's around. It's a breezy 100m long, totally free to check out, but heads up – it's closed at night. Dive into the cave vibes, my friend!
